[attr="class","twotext"]Personality Growing up with two-legs all her life, Athena can be a bit prickly when it comes to others judging how she lives. She often quips back with 'Yeah, well, fur and bones just sounds... gross!' as weak of a comeback as it is, it has many different versions depending on how you first approach. She's also very territorial, if you pop into her garden she's not afraid to claw your ears off!
But, once she gets to know you, and vice-versa, she can be the nicest cat around! She is just a little hard on herself. She dwells on things sometimes, and she lets whatever happened eat her alive. Guilt is something she struggles with; often she doesn't want to come across as mean, or even rude unless provoked! This also means that if it eats at her enough, you can expect an apology from her - true and honest.
Honesty is something that her mother instilled in her. Honesty was the golden rule, you can always count on Athena to be honest. Blunt, sometimes, too. Aside from this Athena is a gentle she-cat. She's always willing to help any cat who needs it, and there really isn't anything she wouldn't do for those she holds dear. But beware. She can also push you away if you hurt her deeply. She doesn't enjoy being pushed around, she does have a mind of her own, but sometimes she just doesn't know how cope, and she simply requires a lot of patience.
She learns from those sorts of lessons, though. She tries her best to make sure that no cat feels the way she has in the past. She's very forgiving for those whom she really feels mean their apology, and will take them back under the wing of friendship once more.
When it comes to romance, she only has her sights set on one tom. That's her neighbor: Viktor. But don't tell him, please!
Strengths honest, a true friend
Weaknesses Guilt driven, isolating herself,
Goals She doesn't really know what she wants!

[attr="class","vanice"]STEP THREE
[attr="class","threetext"]
Appearance Athena is a lovely she-cat with soft, large green eyes. Her body is slim, and lithe. Her pelt is white with patches of brown tabby markings. Her paws are dainty, but her claws are sharp! She's glad that her two-legs don't trim them, or send her to the cutter!
History Born to Grady (a House Pet) and Amelia (a stray), Athena was dropped at her father's door step when she was able to eat anything but her mother's milk. Grady didn't really know what to do when he took her in. She had been mewing on the back steps for hours, calling for her mother, with no answer. It was in the morning that Grady's two-legs opened the flap, and he stepped out. You can imagine his surprise when he saw her shivering on the porch step. When he asked her who had left her, she said 'Amelia'. And never before in his life had he felt so obligated to take care of something. He picked her up immediately, and brought her into the house.
The two-legs living there didn't know what to think when they saw how protective he was of her when they tried to take her out of the house. Grady wasn't having it. When they saw that, they let her stay. Feeding her tasty, mushy stuff that came from a can, and she was able to lounge about - almost - where she liked. And that was the life she had known.
Her father tried to teach her how to hunt. He was a proficient father, he felt.
When Athena was 12 moons old, one morning she decided to roam into the woods. She had heard of the wild cats who lived there, and thought it would be pretty neat to see if the rumors were true. But, instead of meeting the forest cats, she met a stray only a couple of moons older than her. His name was Viktor. His accent was a bit funny, and when she remarked on this he said he was from a place where all the cats had that accent, and it was bitterly cold! She marveled at him, and wanted to know more. So, it's no surprise that she would be the first out early in the morning, saying good-bye to her father, and that she would see him at sundown.
Unfortunately it was not Viktor that she met, but another tom named Godfrey, and his younger sister Shell. Shell and Athena became quick friends, and since they were the same age, they bonded like sisters. Together they would go looking for Viktor - after Athena couldn't shut-up about him.
That was many moons ago. Athena was surprised to find that one day some two-legs had come and taken Shell, and that was left was Godfrey. She felt sorry for him, and their bond grew stronger. She feels for Godfrey like the older brother she never had, and feels for Viktor like she's never felt for any cat before.
And in all that, how she still manages to feel lonely a mystery to her.
Still! She longs to meet some of the forest cats that she is told roams the forests, but they seem to only roam at night, and in all time she's been alive, she's never roamed out of her safe home at night...
