Appearance (click to see) slender, sleek, pure white tom cat with yellow eyes.
History
[childhood] snakinggrass was born snakekit, for his sleek body type. ever since he was young, he exhibited uncharted levels of stealth and agility, and reveled in the element of surprise. his mini attacks were a nuisance to passing warriors and busy mothers, but some of the more powerful cats in the clans took an interest. he was influenced by some of the sneakiest warriors and apprentices in the clans as a kit, and his future mentor was taken into careful consideration. other than his particular skills, his childhood was rather average. he had trouble behaving his mother, gingertail, who was frustrated with his rebellious nature. everything he was told to do, he would do the opposite. everything he was specifically not to do, he would go out of his way to disobey. he was rebellious and independent, and didn't take much interest in his sisters, orchidkit and softkit. his father wasn't around much, some said he had ran away to join another clan, while others said he became a kitty pet or ventured too far from thunderclan and was killed. snakekit was internally upset about this, he had a vague memory of his father and held onto this. he missed his absent father, and wondered what he was like and why he had left. soon, he would have a more prominent father figure however.
[juniorhood] snakekit was made an apprentice at the traditional six moons, and his ceremony was pretty eventful. he was given his name first, before his sisters, and was named snakingpaw in honor of his gravitation towards stealth. his mentor was a swift warrior, who was adept among the trees, gingertail's cousin. his name was violetsong, and he would lead snakingpaw to a better path. snakingpaw took pride in his name, while his siblings remained with their birth names and more traditional warriors. most certainly, he felt special. violetsong would foster this innate sense of pride and superiority, and taught the young cat to believe in himself above anything else. during his apprentice moons, orchidpaw died after a strong spider bite eventually became infected. it seemed like a freak accident, the worst possible outcome, but snakingpaw took this event to heart and became more impulsive because of it.
[adulthood] snakingpaw was named snakinggrass at 14 moons, with violetsong by his side. his sister was named softfern, and became a strong warrior beside him.
