[attr="class","twotext"]Personality Warm is how you might describe Greynose, and doesn't really care what any cat may say of him. He's boisterous, meaning he's loud, and will always give his opinion to anyone who cares to listen. He's never one to back down from a challenge, oh no! Want to fight, he'll play around until it's something serious. It's really the only way to truly gain his friendship, to prove yourself. If you are equal, or a better fighter, you have a friend for life! Beware, though, he has claws.
Psh! Nah! Just kidding. He takes most things with a belly full of laughter, and he has high respect for Kestrelsight (whom you will meet shortly). He has no plans on becoming a father, though he's not beyond adopting the adorable kits that come out of the nursery as his own!
He loves to tell thrilling stories, no matter how tall the tale! If it captures his young audience, and makes the elders snicker at the ridiculousness, he's game!
As a teacher, though, he's much like Kestrelsight. Tough, and willing to push you beyond the limits of what you think you can do, and will try to give you confidence in what you know you can do. He never wants anyone to feel as though they are worthless to the clan, and that they always have something to contribute, and will always walk with you through thick and thin (remember the thing about friendship? It flows to him like water, or blood, strong, and able.)
Don't let it fool you, though. That's the outside. Sometimes, on the inside, though he is secure in who he is, and who he has become, Greynose is familiar with depression - his old friend. He fights it all the time. If you ever see him staring at something, not paying any attention to what he's doing, he's probably reeling about something. Heh, good luck trying to find his secret hide out.
it's not always easy being the life of the party, but don't mistake him. He is genuine with everything he does, and genuine with his feelings, and what he says. He's a cat whom, if he says he'll do something, he'll do it.
but, he's got a long ways to go yet!
Strengths Dependent, story telling, goofy.
Weaknesses depression, kits, fighting (getting into fights)
Goals to train his apprentice, and to train her well!

[attr="class","vanice"]STEP THREE
[attr="class","threetext"]
Appearance Greynose has always been fluffier than the average RiverClan cat. And, believe it or not, he's not a half-clan cat, like much of the annoying ThunderClan. His fur looks silky, and is really quite soft, though it tangles and mats easily, so he's constantly grooming himself. Having this sort of fur, and having to live with it, has made Greynose rather tough. He's well muscled in every place, and is an exceptionally strong swimmer; but beware when he starts to shake the water from his fur! Not only does water spiral everywhere, sometimes tufts of fur go flying, too! His claws are almost as sharp as his wit. His eyes are probably what is most striking. They are almond shaped, giving his flat face some dimension. They are a rich amber color, with depths that hide even the most remote of emotions; not that he has trouble hiding his emotions.
History
Greykit
His mother, Dawnbreeze, didn't name her son after his fluffy pelt. Something like 'Fluffykit' sounded rather silly, and she was a sensible she-cat. Naming him for the color of his fur was the most sensible thing to do. Yes, Greykit was going to be his name. And, sadly for her, he was the only kit she ever had, much preferring to be out doing her warrior duties than sitting around having kits. The other Queens in the nursery understood this well. They would often let her go out to do some light hunting while they watched Greykit. Admittedly they were relieved when she would go out! The poor she-cat couldn't shut-up about wanting to be out being more useful to her clan. Splashtooth - the eldest of the Queens, and Dawnbreeze's mother - knew exactly how her daughter felt, had known for a very long time that she would be a wonderful warrior for her clan.
But, she couldn't help begruding her daughter for belittling her choice to stay a Queen, and help the other Queens while they nursed. Dawnbreeze's mate, Thistletail, much preferred his mate to be with him when hunting, doing patrols, or training apprentices anyways.
So, you can sort of see why Greynose is the way he is. He admired his parents dedication to their clan, and to each other. But, he always felt that he was born to forge his own path. This leads to his apprenticeship.
Greypaw
Greypaw's apprenticeship started with a big bang! No one can forget how proud he was to finally be an apprentice! And he got the mentor he had been hoping for. One who had taken a keen interest in the kit, and Splashtooth's mate: Kestrelsight.
Kestrelsight had once been named Kestrelclaw. In a brawl with a ThunderClan patrol over Sunning Rocks, which turned into an all out battle, Kestrelclaw lost his sight in one eye, but continued to fight fiercely, and forcefully through the wreckage of clan cats. He has a scar going across the one eye, which is now white due to his age, but he's always been alert. With scars riddling his sleek, slightly fluffy fur, Kestrelclaw was renamed Kestrelsight, and he swears to this day he can feel his warrior ancestors surrounding him every time he gets into a brawl that could turn deadly at any moment.
Though his age said he was due for the Elder's den, his determination said differently. He remained healthy, strong, and able, and he told his leader that so long as he was able, he would serve his clan, and that it was his destiny to die in a battle that he could not foretell.
To Greynose, that made Kestrelsight a total badass! What Greypaw wasn't expecting was the training to be lesson for lesson, claws for claws, and tough. Kestrelsight knew the territory like the back of his paw. He was keen, alert, and always training Greynose to hear things most cats either wouldn't or couldn't. To pay more attention to his surroundings. It made him a formidable land-hunter. Greynose learned from his ancient mentor, and but he didn't let Kestrelsight get him down. He remained a loveable, large, fur ball willing to help anyone (in the clan). He developed a sense of humor, which Kestrelsight may-or-may-not-have instilled in the young apprentice.
Kestrelsight, knowing the 'paw may have felt a little disowned, didn't want him to think that growing up had to be all serious. He taught Greypaw how to laugh at the non-serious, and just how serious to take the serious.
Greynose
Well, Kestrelsight is still around, still serving, though not straying too far from camp. He couldn't have been more proud of any apprentice he trained than he was when it came time for Greypaw's assessment. The fluffy, storm-grey tom had come a long way from where he started. He had lapped up every bit of knowledge that Kestrelsight had given him, and had proven to be just as fierce in battle with rival clans! And Greypaw became Greynose.
Since, life has been pretty uneventful. That is... or was ... until he was given Leopardpaw as an apprentice. Little did Greynose know that this would be start of his greatest adventure...
